— Why Morath Sellin —
The Advantages of Learning With a Workshop That Knows Its Craft
Measured against what passes for financial education in Malaysia, we work differently. Here is what that difference looks like in practice.

What Sets Our Programmes Apart
No Product Agenda
We receive no commissions. No financial products are recommended during our sessions. The content is education, not marketing.
Malaysian Focus
Content is built around Malaysian instruments: EPF, Bursa Malaysia, ASB, unit trusts, Shariah-compliant options, and LHDN considerations.
Practitioner Educators
Our facilitators have professional backgrounds in banking, fund management, and estate planning — not just academic training.
Structured Progression
Three programmes designed to build on each other — from foundational budgeting to investment understanding to long-term planning.
Physical Materials
Workbooks and reference materials are yours to keep. Learning that does not evaporate when the screen turns off.
Self-Paced Options
Recorded study sessions allow working adults to engage with materials at their own pace, without sacrificing depth of content.
EXPERTISE
Educators Who Have Worked in the Field
There is a meaningful difference between someone who has studied financial concepts and someone who has spent years working with them in practice. Our team brings both. Hakim Morath's background spans banking operations and adult literacy training. Lim Sook Yin worked in fund management before transitioning to education. Rohana Ahmad has conducted research into EPF disbursement patterns and estate outcomes in Malaysia.
This professional grounding informs how we explain concepts, what examples we use, and what questions participants actually need answered.
PROCESS & DELIVERY
A Delivery Model Built Around Working Adults
Most of our participants are in employment, raising families, or managing other demands. Our delivery model reflects this. Study sessions are pre-recorded so they can be engaged with at 11pm on a Tuesday or during a long weekend — whichever suits.
Facilitator sessions for our two advanced programmes are scheduled in coordination with participants, not imposed as fixed timetables. We work around people, not the other way around.
SUPPORT
Accessible Before, During, and After
Enquiry responses within one working day. Questions during a programme addressed directly by facilitators — not routed through a helpdesk. Post-completion email support for three months included with every programme at no additional charge.
We keep cohort sizes manageable so that participants are not anonymous. If you have a question, it will be answered by someone who knows the material.
VALUE
Clear Pricing, No Surprises
Our programme fees are stated clearly and cover everything — materials, recordings, and post-completion support. There are no hidden add-ons, no upsells to other services, and no surprises at checkout.
Compared to commissioned financial advisory services, where the cost of advice is often embedded in product fees, our model offers a straightforward exchange: a stated fee for a stated programme.

Things We Do That Others Do Not
Annual Programme Reviews
Our curricula are formally reviewed each year against changes in Malaysian market conditions, EPF policy updates, and LHDN guidelines — not left to drift.
Shariah-Compliant Coverage
Investment and retirement programmes include dedicated coverage of Shariah-compliant instruments — not treated as an afterthought but as a full component of Malaysian financial literacy.
Composition-Style Workbooks
Workbooks are not just slides printed on paper. They are designed for active use — with structured frameworks participants complete as they work through each session.
No Upselling Between Programmes
Participants who complete First Impressions are not pressured to enrol in subsequent programmes. Each programme stands on its own, and progression is always the participant's choice.
